Atmosphere / Uplighting

We use a dynamic lighting system to illuminate your venue’s walls and ceilings. Whether your event is taking place in a ballroom or a barn, transform it into the dreamy, magical look that matches your decor and style. LED lighting can be changed to practically any color.

How much do you charge?

  • Monday-Thursday- Starting at $800
  • Friday-Sunday- Starting at $1,500

What is the booking process like?

Set up an initial phone conference, sign a contract, leave a deposit, introduce you to your exclusive DJ then we rock your wedding!

How much is the deposit?

  • Monday-Thursday $250 for the DJ only.
  • Friday-Sunday $450 for DJ and Up Lights.
  • Here is a list of deposit for add ons:
    • Up Lights $200 deposit
    • Traditional Photo Booth $200 deposit
    • Mirror Booth $250 deposit
    • Monogram $100 deposit

All deposits are non-refundable.

How do I know what services I need?

Our sales team will definitely help with this and will not let you buy anything that’s not necessary.

Do I need speakers and additional equipment?

There are some venues that are bigger than others but also some venues that require more equipment depending on the logistics of the wedding as far as ceremony site, cocktail hour site and reception site. Sometimes in order to have sound in all these areas you may need additional speakers.

Can I see my DJ in action before my event?

Unfortunately not, we aren’t allowed to invite our clients to other clients events. We do attend open houses where you can meet a DJ and see him in action. We try to let everyone know that every event is different and that one clients musical taste may not be the same as the next clients musical taste so seeing a DJ at someone else’s event may not be a good idea.

How far in advance do I need to book you for my wedding?

Some dates are more popular than others, especially Saturdays. We always advise clients to book their DJ as early as possible as we book up 12+ months in advance for certain dates.

How long has J&A Entertainment been in business?

Over 5 years as a company, but our DJ’s experience ranges from 7 years – 20+ years. All of our DJ’s have a ton of experience, and we are all held to the same standard.

After booking:

Who is my DJ?

We will introduce you to your DJ and give you his contact info so you can have a direct line of communication with him throughout the entire process.

Can we make song request?

Absolutely!!! It’s your event, request whatever you like. We are here to bring your vision to life so no matter what it is, we will play it for you! We’re like Burger King, have it your way 🙂

When will my DJ arrive?

2 hours prior to the contracted event start time.
